Town & Gown Drama Project
In collaboration with Nigerian universities, NTN’s “Town & Gown” project pairs student playwrights and actors with seasoned professionals. Through on-campus workshops, script readings and staged performances, emerging talent gains practical experience and industry networks.
National Playwrights Competition & Workshops
Our annual National Playwrights Competition (Echoes of the Drums) attracts new scripts nationwide. Winners receive development grants, staged readings and entry into the Directors’ Workshop, while quarterly playwrights’ labs provide mentorship from established dramatists.
Theatre Productions & International Showcases
NTN produces 4–6 major plays each year—ranging from contemporary social dramas to traditional folktale adaptations. Recent tours include CHOGM 2003, Presidential inaugurations (2015–date) and festivals in Europe and Asia, demonstrating our troupe’s versatility and global appeal.
