A Laudable First Experience at the National Troupe of Nigeria (SIWES Passing Out Performance)
The Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) participants of the National Troupe of Nigeria held their Passing Out Performance yesterday, marking the successful completion of an intensive three-month training programme in dance, music, and drama.
In August 2025, the National Troupe welcomed sixteen (16) students from five distinguished universities across Nigeria: Redeemer’s University, Ede (Osun State); Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye (Ogun State); Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (Ondo State); Kogi State University, Anyigba (Kogi State); and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (Anambra State).
The students delivered an exceptional performance that demonstrated the artistic and technical competencies gained during their industrial attachment. Their presentation showcased creativity, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts.
The event was graced by senior officials.
